For a lot of kinksters, the idea of chaining a sub to a ground ring in a dungeon is incredibly appealing. That anchored, immovable restraint carries a certain psychological weight.
But realistically, not everyone has a dungeon in their basement—or is willing to drill into their bedroom floor just to install a ring.
That’s where this concept comes in.
Instead of fixing the ring to the ground, you let the sub’s own body weight do the work.
The design is straightforward: a rounded wooden Floor Anchor Plate with a solid ring mounted in the center. When the sub steps onto the plate, their weight stabilizes it—basically turning it into a temporary anchor point wherever you put it.
I use this setup a lot in my own play.
To keep their feet from leaving the plate, you can use ankle cuffs, shackles, rope, zip ties—whatever works for your setup.
My favorite way to use it is with both wrist and ankle restraints, forcing the sub into a squat on the plate. It creates a really nice visual—almost like a pet posed on a small platform. Very controlled, very display-focused. I think pet play–leaning doms will especially like this one.
Alternatively, you can keep it simple: just secure the ankles and have them stand on the plate. Their own weight keeps everything in place, and you can move the whole setup anywhere you want—instant ground anchor. From there, you can layer in impact play or other forms of stimulation, with the sub remaining anchored in place to receive it.
A pair of removable wedges is also included for subs who need a bit more heel support when squatting.
The latest version takes this further. I’m adding a vertical mounting rail across the plate, allowing accessories to be attached at the front or rear. The Floor Anchor Plate becomes more than just an anchor—it starts becoming a modular platform for different types of play.
For example, by mounting one or two vertical rods onto the plate, you can convert the device into a “one-bar prison” or “two-bar prison.”
You can position the one-bar at the front or rear, depending on how you want to use it. A two-bar prison uses both front and rear elements, creating a more restrictive, fully controlled position.
You can also add an adjustable holding arm at the front to mount accessories for hands-free intimate stimulation, allowing you to focus on other interactions—or simply step back and observe the forced stimulation.
This evolution transforms the device from a simple restraint point into a more flexible foundation system.
